Donor Recognition
Recognizing the generosity of our donors is one of our top priorities – in fact, ‘focus on donor relations’ is one of our strategic priorities.  Our donors are the lifeblood of our organization, and we can’t say thank you often enough. 
We recognize our donors in a variety of public and not-so-public ways including thank you letters and phone calls, donor recognition walls and plaques, equipment photos and more.  We attempt to recognize every donor in the manner appropriate to their gift. New donors receive a Welcome Kit. Where appropriate, donors are invited to community events and are recognized in our Annual Report, newsletters, internal magazines, our website or donor wall.

Our Donor Walls
We now have four donor walls. In the main lobby is our main donor recognition wall (above), on which we recognize cumulative giving to the Foundation. Names are inscribed here beginning at $5,000 and above of lifetime giving. All donors, regardless of gift size, are recognized in our Book of Honour, an integral part of this wall.

We also have three campaign donor walls. In the main waiting room of our Diagnostic Imaging Department is our “Scanning for Guelph Wellington” wall (below right), recognizing donors to our $2 million CT scanner campaign. In the Newton and Marguerite Clayton Community Dialysis Centre at 73 Delhi Street is our “Dialysis – Closer to Home” donor wall (bottom). Finally, in our main lobby is our recently unveiled “Partners for Better Health” donor wall, recognizing donors to this $12 million joint campaign (below left).
